Hello!
I'm Lore García — an illustrator and graphic designer with a deep love for storytelling through images. I studied Graphic Design at the University of Fine Arts in Cali and, ever since, my path has been filled with color, texture, and imagination, working as an independent creative.
Driven by my passion for the world of illustration, I felt the need to explore further. This journey led me to pursue a postgraduate degree in Children's and Young Adult Literature at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá.
I believe life is like a train with many carriages — each one carrying dreams, challenges, and discoveries. One of those carriages was a scholarship I was awarded, which gave me the opportunity to move to Barcelona, Spain, where I specialized in Illustration for Children's and Young Adult Publications at EINA University Center of Design and Art, with a degree granted by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
I find beauty in small details — the curve of a line, the space between silences — and I aim to create pieces that resonate on an emotional level. My process is agile yet thoughtful, guided by intuition and shaped by experience.
